An authorization is issued when the grantor: 1- Wants a specific person to arrange and obtain a passport for a minor in Honduras; or, 2- Wants a specific person to represent him/her at a specific Embassy in Honduras to arrange for a visa or immigration document for a minor, only if requested in writing; or, 3- Wants a specific person to leave the country accompanying a minor; or for a minor to leave the country without or with an escort;

aINFORMATION REQUIRED FOR WRITING AN AUTHORIZATION
1- Present identity card or any document that assures Honduran nationality (e.g. passport, and/or birth certificate, if you only have a birth certificate, you must present other documents that support the information) and describe your general information: marital status, profession, address.
2- The complete name of the person to whom the AUTHORIZATION is going to be granted and the general data of the same: identity card number, marital status, profession, domicile in Honduras, if he/she is a legal professional, the number of the professional association and the address of the firm.
3- The reason for the granted AUTHORIZATION (passport processing, leaving the country, etc.).
ADDITIONALLY
– If it is to authorize passport processing for a minor, the original or authenticated photocopy of the minor’s birth certificate is required. – If a minor is leaving the country, the passport number with issue and expiration date is required.
